What is Accra Riding Club

Accra Riding Club is Ghana’s first community riding club and one of the most unique things to do in Accra. Every Saturday we bring together riders of all levels — complete beginners, returning riders, and everyone in between — for a shared horse riding experience in Accra that is about more than just getting on a horse.

This is a space built on connection. Between people. Between riders and horses. Between Accra and a world most of the city has never had access to.

What to expect

Every Saturday session is guided, safe, and personal. You are not just handed a horse and sent off. You are introduced to the horse, shown what you need to know, and supported throughout by a team that genuinely cares about both you and the animal you are riding.

No experience needed. Just show up.

Why we built this

Horse riding in Ghana has always been the same thing. You pay, you get on, you go up and down for a few minutes, you take a photo, you get off. Nobody tells you anything about the horse. Nobody creates a real connection. Nobody asks if you want more than that.

We built Accra Riding Club because we knew people did. More than a quick ride. More than a photo. A real experience with a real horse in a space that actually cares about both. Every Saturday in Accra — structured, personal, and built around the horse as much as the rider.
